Envirotech Engineering & Consulting, Inc., prepares Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans for facilities. SPCC Plans are required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for non-transportation related facilities with aboveground storage capacity exceeding 1,320-gal. or a completely buried storage capacity greater than 42,000-gal., where there’s a reasonable expectation of a discharge into or upon navigable waters of the U.S. or adjoining shorelines.
Envirotech has visited more than 1000 sites in multiple states. Our primary clients include: Oil & Gas Exploration/Production Companies, Retail Fuel Sales Facilities, and Agricultural/ Farming Operations. We have been preparing SPCC Plans for many farming operations in order to assist our clients in meeting an EPA compliance deadlines. Expanding farming operations have resulted in increased fuel storage capacities, prompting the EPA to specifically require farms to comply with the SPCC rule that has been in effect for many other commercial and industrial sectors since 1974.
